The Summer House Inn has 22 rooms, a kitchen that includes refrigerators. microwaves, coffee pots, toasters, dishes and silver (no stove).

ROOM RATES vary according to accommodations (see table below).  Bedding and towels are furnished.  Sheets are changed once a week.  Towels are changed twice a week with extras available on Friday if needed.  Trash is emptied and beds made daily.  Only local phone service is available, and messages will be placed in your box by the desk.

 

THE INN HAS A FIRM POLICY OF NO PETS, NO SMOKING ON THE PROPERTY, AND NO COOKING OR FOOD IN THE ROOMS.

 

RESERVATION INFORMATION: Please make your week's stay begin on Saturday.  Check-in time is 3PM.  Check-out time is 10 AM.  Before or after these times, baggage may be left in the office at your own risk.  If your arrival occurs when the desk is not manned, your key and directions to your room will be on the TV set in the living room.  Include your phone number, email address and number of persons with any inquiry.

 

REQUIRED DEPOSIT:  Send required amount with your reservation:

2 weeks or less  --- Total amount with your reservation or 1/2 now and 1/2 by March 1st

3 weeks   ---  One week now, one week by March 1st, and one week by June 1st.

 

Any balance is due on arrival.  Extended payment arrangements may be made.  Sales tax is 7.25%.  The new county bed tax is 3%.

 

REFUND POLICY:  If cancellation arrives by March 1st, all deposit minus $30 will be refunded.  From March 1st to the beginning of the reason, the same refund will apply if the Inn is fully rented.  (Refunds made after departure date)  After season begins, NO refund will be made.  The Inn reserves the right to change a reservation to a like room to accommodate a longer term stay.  You will be notified before a change is made except for stays of 1 to 4 days.

 

SUMMER OFFICE HOURS:  9:30 - 10:30 AM and 12 noon - 1 PM.  At other times, you may be able to reach me at 357-9775, or leave a note on the Inn desk.

 

All room prices above INCLUDE tax.

Extra person charge - $10/week; Cot - $10/week; Electricity charge for a computer or your fan - $10/week.  Charge for phone time used for email or longdistance beyond Chautauqua and Mayville.
